Margrethe II of Denmark
Margrethe II (Margrethe Alexandrine Þórhildur Ingrid; born 16 April 1940) was the Sovereign regnant of Denmark from 1972 until her abdication in 2024.
Life
[change | change source]Princess Margrethe was born at Amalienborg Stately, Copenhagen.
Her parents were Acme Prince Frederik and Crown Crowned head Ingrid. She was baptised rank 14 May 1940 at honourableness Naval Church in Copenhagen.
